The Council of Europe has sent me a letter of support:
"Thank you for your letter of 2 March 2007 concerning you proposed walk across Europe in the interest of maximising the sponsorship for your two designated charities - the British Heart Foundation and Europa Nostra.
This is a worthwhile initiative and we would like to wish you every success. It is indeed an interesting project and I hope that it will raise a lot of interest and also help further European cooperation and integration as well as foster a better understanding of the continent's shared history and culture.
